Abstract
Radial club hand is an unusual congenital condition characterized by structural anomalies along the radial aspect of the forearm. This disorder typically manifests as partial or total loss of the radius bone, affecting the shape and mobility of the limb. It can be diagnosed through a physical examination and X-ray of the forearm. This condition is often associated with other syndromes, making it essential to conduct a thorough clinical examination and appropriate investigations to identify any associated congenital abnormalities or syndromes. Early diagnosis and timely surgical correction can lead to significantly better outcomes.
Here, we detail a case involving a preterm neonate with a solitary, nonsyndromic radial club hand on the left side.
